brand identity

overview

Little Cup of Heaven is a bakery and catering company specializing in allergen-free baked goods, coffee, hotdishes, and salads. They make comfort foods from the heart for everyone to enjoy.

The goal was to create a logo system that feels professional and mature, while looking both elegant and approachable. The logos will have a wide range of use, including food packaging, signage for a food trailer or brick & mortar location, as well as digital promotions.

concept

The icon is a play off the name Little Cup Of Heaven, with a coffee cup sitting in the clouds and steam coming out in the shape of a halo. A few drawing styles were explored, such as a line art version. But ultimately this was the version felt to resonate most with the ideal audience while reflecting the type of goods sold.

details

The cup is created using negative space so the icon could be in one color, allow for easy color changes, as well as different print applications.

The nameplate is a classic-looking script to evoke a homestyle, homemade feeling. It's meant to look slightly vintage while still modern.

The teal color was previously used by the brand and kept to help continue with brand recognition. The teal was updated slightly to look more modern, and paired with an eye-catching coral - a great combo for a Florida-based company.
